  • Hatch Oxford Road m1 7ed United Kingdom (map)

Calling all students!

Need a litttle help getting back to bed??

The godsend that is the Scrivener writing tool - a ring-binder, a scrapbook, a corkboard, an outliner and text editor all rolled into one - is helping students to keep everything together in exam and dissertation time with a series of six events moving across Manchester, Leeds and London.

Join us for:

Get to Bed: Sleep Sanity Workshop for Students on 30th April at Hatch, Oxford Road / 6-8pm.

6pm arrival

6.15pm: Join the brilliant Emma Roberts from Into the Gathering Dusk for a mocktail making class using some wild herbs and ingredients like camomile and lavender. Emma will also be making up a care package for students to take home after. “When we are working hard to a deadline it can be tricky to switch off, even though we know it helps our overall achievements. Investing a little time in self care using healing and soothing plants can help to promote deeper sleep and calm focussed energy on waking. Join us to find out more and give yourself a pat on the back!”

7pm After mocktails, join us for some Sleepy Yoga with the zen AF, Polly Fowler. Dedicate some time away from screens, books or procrastinations! Gentle movement to get out of your busy head during exam prep and into your body. Put the to do list aside for a little while as we move through some Yin postures (holding the position for 3-5 minutes) to create some head space and allow yourself to rest so revision of information is retained! This is not the time to push past your limit and depend on stimulants, there is another way!

Rest and recover through self care. No previous Yoga experience necessary."

8 - End / Chilling / Chatting / Snoozing
